An Excellent 'overflow' freezer

I needed more space to store frozen foods to enable taking advantage of sales and storage of items out of season. The 7.0 freezer fit my needs both in terms of space and storage. It has worked quite well for me in all respects and I would heartily recommend it to anyone with similar needs. It is very easy to clean and maintain requiring a very small amount of time required to clean/defrost. Thus far the defrosting has been an annual affair taking about an hour from start to finish.

My freezer was working fine for 3 years. My warranty was for 3 years. Started leaking right when the warranty expired! I called and asked for an extension on the warranty and was told I couldn't purchase one.

This is our first chest freezer and is the perfect size for our three member family. I plugged it in, let it cool and loaded it up. Been great! Barely any frost inside the unit.

It doesn't seem to get as cold as my other 7 cubic ft. Freezer. I have it as cold as it can go and it' never gets zero or below. It usually is around 15 degrees. I would like to know if that is normal? Other than that it is working fine..

As noted in other reviews, my freezer also failed in less then a month after the warranty expired. I have found it extremely difficult to contact Frigidaire and was constantly having problems with reaching a live person or someone's accent you could understand. I have lost hundreds of dollars in food. Today I was told my freezer is outdated and parts are not available? It was purchased in 2021. I asked for a one time parts and labor concession and was denied. I was offered a buy back and then denied. What it all comes down to is the product FAILED, it cost me money, and will continue to cost me money for removal and disposal fees. Frigidaire tells you here to call, well I did that and got nowhere.

This is the perfect size for our family. It takes up minimum spacei in the garage but holds plenty of food. I like that it has a bright green light on the front to let you know it is on. It's a perfect solution to our need for additional freezer space.

I thought I was buying a quality product from a trusted brand, but the refrigerant leaked out (not from moving) in less than 3 years. I was sure it must be covered by a warranty, but I was told they only provide a 1 year warranty. Any company that only warranty's the appliance for a year doesn't believe in their product, and from now on, neither do I.

We have had Frigidaire appliances for years. After a recent move to a smaller residence, we found we could not bring our freezer with us because it was just too big. We left it for the new owners of the house and they were pleased with it. After the move we bought another Frigidaire freezer, this time half the size of our other one. First time I have purchased a Frigidaire product. Purchased this May of 2021 and it quit yesterday-4 months after the warranty ran out. I have never had a refrigerator or freezer fail that quickly. Mine usually last 16-20 years with proper maintenance. Not worth fixing. I also lost $300.00 worth of food. I will not be purchasing Frigidaire replacement.

I love my new chest freezer. Had a little trouble leveling it due to only one side being adjustable but I managed to get it level. Plenty of room and everything is frozen solid on the lowest setting.

This is an excellent freezer. It has a lot more room on the inside than you would think.The floor footprint is very manageable -- 2 feet deep by 3 feet wide, you can store it in a corner of a room or the garage and it does not clutter up the place.And it fits a lot more food than you would think: the key is to package and stack the food carefully. There is a small rack included which helps with "grab and go" items.I have had the unit running during the heat of the summer and it has not had any problem keeping up; and I haven't had any issues with frost or condensation on the inside.And I really like how quiet the freezer is, you cannot hear it at all....I liked the freezer so much, I bought two of them; you get as much storage as a larger freezer, for less money; and that way, you can split the freezers and put them in different places where a 14-foot freezer would not fit; and if you open one freezer to get something out, it doesn't warm the other 7 foot freezer.The ONLY drawback, is that the freezers took several weeks for delivery.But once you have them, they are fantastic.Would highly recommend / would buy again.

Keeps food at zero degrees. The box was perfect on the outside with no dents or scratches, but the freezer had a good size dent at the bottom right near the thermostat and this had to happen at the factory. It works fine but dent is easy to see because it faces the front of freezer. I have a freezer just like this one that is 24 years old and is still working.
