This is my 1st day using this brand new AC and after 8 hours of install the unit and I set it at 62 and blasted to the fastest speed and until now only after 8 hours its read at 74 degree. I have a bad feeling something is not right with this unit. My current AC with Frigidaire which I still have almost 10 years is freezing cold in my bedroom. This new unit in my living room is soo warm. I just spent 1156$ for this brand new unit today.

I have purchased 2 of these units so far - one of this model, and one of the one that preceded it, but was very similar spec wise. Both of them worked very well initially, and both started failing to cool within 2-3 years. My original unit had a refrigerant leak, and I'll bet my current unit is suffering the same fate. I sit about 2 feet from this AC unit when working from home, and it's often 83-84 deg at my desk according to the remote which is quite disappointing. Maybe I've had a string of bad luck, but I cannot recommend Frigidaire ACs at this point and will likely be looking elsewhere shortly as I feel I've thrown enough $$ out the window at this point.

Our space is open and this unit cools off the living room area pretty quickly. You feel comfortable when you are in the kitchen and freezing when you actually in the space. I prefer it this way because I could always use a throw if necessary. We are pleased with the unit except that I wish the controller provided more buttons for selecting the cooling feature as there are different speeds and there are times that I push buttons without realizing I am changing the speed.

Our condo had its original 48-year-old wall A/C. When it finally quit, our friends upstairs said this was a GREAT A/C and we quickly purchased it. After using it in 90 degree plus weather we agree!! It is quiet. Due to the humidity, we found water building up in the pan. Once we ran it on high (rather than ECONO mode) the water evaporated.We are very glad we purchased this unit. We plan to enjoy it for the next 30-40 years!

I bought this 14,000 btu unit about a month ago. It ih s very loud, but the noise doesn't bother me as I sleep with a noise machine when the air conditioner isn't running. The features are nice, but the air is not very cold, which is disappointing.

Perfect A/C. Fit in our wall opening perfectly. Looks great. Works great. Keeps my whole apartment at a cool crisp 70°. No weird noises or vibrations. One of my favorite purchases so far.

I have large, oddly shaped living room with only one outside wall at one end, far from the opposite wall and with an L-shaped dining area off one side. This unit cools the whole space very comfortably. The remote is easy to use and the unit is surprisingly quiet (Useful in a space that includes both a TV and a dining room table!) Very happy with this purchase, especially with the price. A good buy!

We are generally pleased with our Frigidaire AC. It successfully cools a relatively large open area that includes both our living room and kitchen. However, we were hoping it would be less noisy, even when we set the unit to a low fan speed and have it on the ™eco™™ setting.

It works and has a lot of good features. I still can™™t figure out how to use the timer and no one can help me figure it out. The directions are difficult to read/understand. I needed more BTUs but this is what was available to me so I took it.

We just installed it. When the compressor kicks in it starts to make a loud, rattling noise. Something may be loose, but we are struggling to get the cover off to check.

I was worried about spending this much money on something but I can say that it was worth every penny. The installation was straight forward and easy. I bought additional installation kits but didn™™t need to use them because they gave you everything needed in the box. I love the remote sensing feature. It acts like a thermostat for wherever you place the remote in the room. The unit isn™™t that loud either. All in all, very happy with the purchase.

Replaced this unit as I had an old Frigidaire (almost 20 years old) that was finally on its way out. I love it! My old one had the number dial to increase the air but this one has the remote which I can control from my chair. It is super quiet and looks good in the sleeve. I plan on buying two more to replace my other old units.
