We bought this microwave less than a year ago, and yet it fell apart on us. The machine starts up, but it makes a worse and much louder sound than it did originally, within a second or two of start up, a burnt rubber smell wafts from the device, and even if that did not happen, it no longer heats up any food. I have never seen a product fail so quickly when it comes to what is considered a major appliance. We bought ours from a third party vendor, and purchased an extended warranty with it, just in case. Thankfully, the company we purchased it from has sent us a check for the full amount we paid. I hate that we had to go through this, but hopefully no one else will.

We bought this microwave in October 2017 and it has lasted about a year and a half. We only use microwave safe dishes and even covers to keep the inside clean. The warranty is only 1 year and Frigidaire offered to send a repair person out and the cost is $99 just for that person to drive here. The digital screen is also not very bright. I would not recommend this product.

I have been using this microwave for about 2 months now. It does everything I ask of it. I have two problems however. For one you have to enter the time and then push start. On my old microwave I could enter up to 6 minutes and it would start automatically. However, this is a feature I can manage. My next problem is my height. We installed the unit over our built in oven and I cannot see the readout display until I move a certain distance to the side. This would probably not be a problem for most people, but is something to be aware of when installing it. Otherwise, I have always been confident with all my frigidaire appliances, and this one is no exception. I love the sensor reheat and popcorn settings

I purchased this just over a month ago and so far it is great. I love the sleakness and the large size.The only downfall is the buttons are not fully responsive so if you don't touch them in the correct spot then it doesn't work. I have to hit the start button multiple times before it will start.

To tell you the truth I was pleased with the unit but just one week of service it quit working. This happened on a Sunday morning. I finally got hold of my dealer on Monday afternoon . He lent me a unit. Repair man came-blown fuse-two week wait for new part? Not too happy!!~

I bought this microwave to replace a 10 year old original built in microwave of another brand, and am very happy with this microwave's performance. Cooks very evenly, no hot spots. Wished the finished cooking alarm could be adjusted - pretty annoying - but other than that, it is working very well, very happy with this microwave.

This is a direct replacement fro the previous Gallery model so we were happy not having to make any modifications for the built-in. The previous model suffered some accidental abuse but still went strong for 12 years so we have faith that this one will serve just as well. Only negative is the slight style change with the add on badging is a bit of distraction and not as modern looking as the previous model. Remember, this is designed to be built in and would be quite large for a stand alone. I have seen reports of the door sticking...we found this was due to a sticky build up around the opening and door frame mating surface that builds up over time from cooking. Regular cleaning of those surfaces corrected the problem.

It took 4 months to get a FGMO205KW with a door that worked properly. The first unit's door latches stuck; the door wouldn't open without pushing it upward when pushing the "open" button. Three repairmen couldn't fix it and Frigidaire reluctantly replaced it. All is well now. Finally.

I purchased this because it had a kit so that it could be installed in a cabinet. I like all the features but out of the box the door would not open by pressing the button, it has to be forced open by pulling out on the bottom of the door. That was a month ago and I am still waiting on the technical fix. Frustrated that it takes so long to get a new product to work correctly. I have to leave the face off so we can get the door open, otherwise it would be really nice.

The original GE unit in my home failed, this unit was an exact fit. Pretty easy to install (did it myself). Works great. I've seen other reviews that said it was noisy, but its not really any louder than any other microwave I've used.Microwave was reasonably priced. The frame that goes around it wasn't.

Easy installation, works nice, but the door is very hard to open. It has to be held in, hen pops open. Once it opens, shuts, and reopens, its easier. Also, once the time is up, it never stops beeping!!!

Bought the microwave without the built in trim kit. Using it in the shelf the old built in was located. Blends in well with white cabinets and refrigerator. The only issue is that the door sticks when trying to open. Tried some lubrication with some improvement. Meets all other expectations.

It is just OK because it present the same problem as my old one means the intensity, the microwave flux is not constant but it seems to go up and down. It fluctuate instead on being steady. My old one (same exact model) did this before it got broken so I fear this will not last.

This unit is a home warranty replacement. The model had numerous reviews about door opening problems and our does too. To reliably get it open we have to pull down on the door a little before pushing the open button. Otherwise it works quite well.

Bought to replace one like it that I had for 6 years. The push door opener stuck and would not open, had to pry the door open. Had to buy the same because of the cut-out. Put the second one in and the same thing happen within two days of installing, the door would not open. Took back and got third one, installed and it seems to be working fine. There must be a flaw with the push button door opener.

Good size and heats great. Looks okay. My last built in had glass on trim kit to match stove, so appearance not as nice as before. The control panel writing is a little small, but is not a problem once you get used to the layout. It was also easy to install, fit in old space with minimal adjustments. Overall I'm happy with this microwave and trim kit. Fingers crossed for no future problems.

We bought this same model in 2005 and it was great, sturdy, reliable. We replaced it with this new model and immediately had problems with the door not opening. It appears the door "sags" and wont let the latch open. Service department came and said many of these are having the same problem, replaced the latch mechanism and said call if it quit working again. After 2 weeks it's starting again. Will continue to use it but will not buy this brand again.
