I bought this Maytag commercial quality dryer a few months ago, and I'm loving it. Dries everything beautifully. The bell sounds when you're laundry is done. The large capacity allows you to dry large loads completely.

I have only had this for a few days, but so far I am quite impressed. This morning I sanitized a large bed cover. I had room to spare, and it came out quite nice.
I also enjoy the low noise level while operating.
I hesitated to give a 5 star rating. because of the short time of ownership.

Bought this a month ago. I am fairly happy with it. Steam setting is not all it is supposed to be and you have to slam the door to shut. The start switch is temperamental. Clothes do dry nicely but you have to remove them immediately Not as good quality as the old Maytag I replaced it with

This dryer is the perfect companion to my new Maytag washer. The rapid wash feature on both work so well for small loads. I love the steam cycle for sanitizing pillows. I will be purchasing the dryer rack for small items that can't be tumbled. Best washer and dryer I have ever had!

Why does dryer NOT start at times ....?

New dryer (and washer) purchased 8-19-2019. There is a strange problem happening at times with the dryer when starting. Once in a while, when one "touch & hold" START to begin cycle, it does not start only beeps. There seems no 'rhyme or reason' since one can try & keep trying, it only beeps. Then all of a sudden, after another try or when someone else tries it ... it starts. I have informed our salesman of this very frustrating 'feature' but have not heard back from him.
Also, have tried the 'wrinkle control' (without steam) and items are about the same as old (very old) Maytag dryer we had, wrinkles present.
Just a comment on door: the closing of the door sounds very 'tinny' or one might say 'cheap'. Our very old Maytag had a more quiet, magnetic, closing , that represented a more quality sound. Similar to closing a luxury car door, BMW or Cadillac, and closing a much lower level car doors.
At this time, I would not recommend this product. 9-17-2019

Touchpad is fantastically annoying and often doesn't work properly. This seems to be an issue with this model as I've read other reviews online that say something similar. The rest of the machine seems to be great when you can get it started, but that low-travel touchpad is a disaster and renders the washer completely unresponsive at times. Start button usually doesn't work, but sometimes it does- just depends. Sometimes it just doesn't start no matter what you do. The off button usually doesn't even turn the dryer off. Usually my wife or I have to completely unplug it from the wall and plug it back in to reset everything. Sometimes the machine does turn on with the on button, (YAY!!!) but then just starts cycling thru a timer setting, beeping at each one, every half second, and the ONLY way to get it to stop doing this thing is to unplug the machine again. Every time you shut it off or unplug it, you have the red light pop back on that tells you to check the filter. Well, I just did.... the last four times I shut it off because it didn't work. It will tell you to check the lint filter even though the lint filter is clean. It will not start with that red filter light on- even if the filter is spotless. With no actual movement from these low profile buttons, you can't tell if they have been pushed or not and there is no mechanical feedback to tell you if the keypad registered your inputs. Awful interface. I think the whole keypad needs to be replaced, but that is hundreds of dollars. What is so bad about having mechanical push buttons and rotating dials that ACTUALLY WORK? My mom has a 35 year old Maytag dryer and it still works. Ours is only about a year old and its worthless.

I bought this about 2 months ago and really like the dryer, once i figured out how to start it. My Bravos washer requires pushing on the start button till you feel it click. The dryer is a newer model and has a touch screen. After 3 calls to customer service finally instructed to just hold lightly "like a touch screen computer". Instructions should really be clearer on the pamphlet provided. That's the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. Runs like a charm now and very satisfied (especially with customer service. They could not have been any more polite and helpful!)

I've had the dryer and washer set for a few weeks now, but I never really got to put it to the test until we came back from vacation. My old Maytag dryer was 14 years old and I loved it. This one is equally as great and I love the steam feature!

Have had my new Maytag dryer for about a month and I love how easy it is to use. My clothes dry beautifully and love the signal that lets me know when the clothes are done drying. The first week I had trouble closing the dryer door - had to actually slam it to get it to close. My husband decided to put a little WD40 on it and now it closes perfectly. Give my new dryer rave reviews!!

No matter if you are 90 years old or 9 years old, Maytag has made the settings on the dryer simple to use. The only thing I would change on it is that the door would open the other way.

It was a sad day when I gave up my old Maytag washer and dryer of 30 years especially since the dryer was still working fine. Then I purchased my new Maytag washer and dryer and was happier than ever. Love, love, love the energy efficiency, the larger capacity, and the speed of getting my clothes cleaner than ever with minimal use of detergent. My husband was even more thrilled with the energy efficiency than I was. Another 30 years?

I bought it to match the washing machine that I needed. I'm happy I spent the money. My only negative is a design flaw; the top is rounded and although it looks sleek, it really hampers it's functionality - especially when stacking and folding clothes that come out of the dryer. Ugh!

We purchased this dryer on 9/27/18, and it was delivered the following week with a large dent when it was unpacked. Another dryer was delivered a week later and worked ok for 2 weeks when it stopped heating. A major part needed to be replaced. As of today, 11/6/18, we're still waiting for the dryer to be repaired.
